A building delay becomes a building freeze

To update the drawings and to correct some errors, we wanted to interrupt the construction for a short period of time.

Cultural misunderstandings led to a quasi-freeze. On the one hand, the revision of the drawings needed longer than expected and on the other hand, the contractor took our idea to slow down in order to correct any problems before going any further, as a vote of confidence and immediately pulled off all the construction workers from the big house.

We were not overly alarmed, because it is important to us that the drawings used on site are up to date. In addition, work at the guesthouse on went on, slowly but surely.

This weekend construction on the main building started up again and we are soon going to update this blog with pictures.
